Hello MagicPlan team,
From CobroSeguroPro SPA, a company specialized in technical reports for insurance claims, we use its app daily in the field. One of the biggest bottlenecks we face is managing the orientation of photographs in generated reports.
Our workflow requires that all photos be recorded in a horizontal format, as this is how the image sections in the PDF report are designed. However, when we take photos of the ceiling of an enclosure, the iPhone automatically rotates the image to a vertical format, and the app keeps it that way in the report, altering the presentation and causing confusion.
This behavior means that, in each report, we must manually review each photo, identify which ones were left vertically and rotate them one by one before generating the PDF. This represents an additional 30% of time spent preparing technical reports, which directly impacts our productivity.
✅ Solution Proposal:
We request that an option be incorporated to block horizontal or vertical orientation within the app's camera mode, similar to how phones allow you to block screen rotation. In our case, an option that ensures that all images are captured horizontally, no matter how the device is held, would suffice.
This improvement would have an immediate and significant impact on the efficiency of those who work with professional reports in the field.
Thank you for considering this improvement.
Kind regards,
CobroSeguroPro SPA Technical Team
