Hello MagicPlan team,
At CobroSeguroPro SPA, we work as technical advisors in claiming claims for insured persons. We use MagicPlan as a field backup tool, preparing reports with damage surveys, plans, photos and budgets.
A fundamental part of our workflow are customized forms, which grow and evolve as we face new types of damage and affected materials. However, we have encountered a limitation that complicates operational efficiency in the field:
🚧 Current issues:
You can't sort the multiple selection options:
The new options are only added at the bottom of the list, creating cluttered forms and making it difficult to find what we need in the field.
Today, the only way to reorder them is to:
Export the list to an external spreadsheet.
Do the sorting (alphabetical, by type, etc.).
Create a new form from scratch and reload all options.
Old forms get stuck in projects that have already started:
If we start a project with an old form, even if we later publish an updated version, the options of the previous form remain stuck together, with no easy way to delete or synchronize. This forces us to redo the project or apply forced solutions that increase working time per report.
✅ Improvement proposal:
Add the option of automatic alphabetical sorting of the options.
Allow you to manually drag and rearrange options in the form editor.
(Optional) Enable synchronization of updated forms in existing projects, if the user wishes.

Attached is a screenshot of the form we used (FormularioDaños.png) where you can see how categories such as “Filter.” and “Demolition” are disordered and scattered.
This improvement would have a direct impact on the productivity of teams that we use MagicPlan as an integral technical tool, not only to make plans, but as part of the entire insurance defense process.

This would be great, currently I have to labelled the forms in the order I want them to appear

Fawn Kite Yes they added the feature soon after my post to order forms alphabetically which is better than nothing. It doesn't help if you want to create a new form and want it to be displayed first as then you have to rename every form again.

Regional Dinosaur The good thing is Magicplan are very responsive when it comes to feature improvements so fingers crossed this can get improved
