I’d really like to add my support for Xiaomi integration.

The Xiaomi device is widely available here in Asia and much more affordable than most of the professional brands currently supported.

Talking to some friends recently I noticed it’s often the first laser measure they buy. Right now, that means we either manually enter every measurement into Magicplan or we have to upgrade to a much more expensive device just for Bluetooth transfer, even though Xiaomi already supports bluetooth.

So I think supporting Xiaomi would lower the barrier significantly for a large group of users, like me. I have checked all the compatible devices on magicplan website but they are at least 4-10 times more expensive. And through my testing I noticed that this device already has great precision, so I see no need to overspend so much.

I do think that if you guys implement this, you will notice a huge spike in demand of your software, because you will open doors to many more users.

And even if you don't want this specific device then at least consider supporting some other budget laser meter. There are many on the market, so supporting only very expensive brands seems to be just narrowing your userbase.

I really am looking forward to any positive news from you guys on this.
