This is a huge hole in what is otherwise a really useful app. Just to echo what others have said: it would be great to have treads and risers scanned, being able to see the stairs being recognised during the scanning process, being able to scan an entire stairwell in one go across multiple floors would be superb! In addition, I find that the staircases often get inserted the wrong way around, in other words you get staircases that are very wide, but very short, when in reality they're long and narrow.

Stairways stop from auto scan

Cannot auto scan rooms with stairway. Need feature to detect the stairs or ability to manually close off stairs in scan. Open ended rooms as well

When scanning any stairways it always messes up the layout, it wants to close off the space instead of scanning what is there, including balconies

Staircase recognition should be implemented as priority. It always messes up with scan of those rooms, requiring to scan multiple times and act as gymnast in order to not let him pick the upper floor in the upper wall scan.
It’s frustrating.
Also, would be necessary to determine the in-between floors height, that so far is scarcely estimated.

Also important, the area under a staircase. On the lowest floor, the area under a staircase, should also be recognized as such. For example, whether it belongs to the stairwell, which is a separate room (with a “sloping roof”) or completely closed.

It would be very helpful if you could scan across floors so that Magicplan can automatically correctly locate projectiles one above the other.
Example: EG is scanned, then the stairwell and then the stairwell is used as a reference to scan the upper floor and correctly locate it on the ground floor so that when exported to, for example, IFC, the floors are correctly displayed one above the other.

Halls and landings struggle in auto scan as often there are stairs in these spaces and the auto scan cannot complete the room. Also some landings have a height change of a small number of steps which causes problems or is undetected. I can provide many examples of this to try and help.

Include the ability to measure the width of a step, the total tread and riser of 1 step, and the quantity of steps.

Stairs are not recognized; space incomplete

During automatic scanning, stairs are not correctly recognized and the wall is not closed. As a result, the space remains incomplete and is not taken over. However, incomplete rooms should always be included in the floor plan or at least allow manual rework.
The automatic function is generally very good, but incomplete spaces are a problem.
