Tyrian purple Porcupine
Since the last update of magicpkan on iPhone, my Leica Disto X4 rangefinder is no longer recognized.
It appears in magicplan as a Disto D110 and the measurements do not work.
Is there an adjustment to do?

Hi everyone, here’s an update on how to connect the Leica DISTO X4 to the magicplan app (version 2025.12.0). To establish a stable connection, please follow the steps below. Let us know if these steps worked for you! Your feedback helps us improve future support.
For Android Devices:
If you cannot connect your DISTO via Bluetooth® to your Android phone or tablet, follow these steps:
- Update your firmware as described here: https://shop.leica-geosystems.com/sites/default/files/2024-12/Instruction_FW_Update_en.pdf
- Reset the DISTO:
- Press the FUNC button → go to Settings → select Reset (on the second page).
- Clear Bluetooth® cache (only if your laser was previously paired):
- Open the Settings app on your Android device.
- Go to Bluetooth.
- Restart your Android device.
- Try connecting again via magicplan only.

For iOS Devices (iPhone/iPad):
If you cannot connect your DISTO via Bluetooth® to your iPhone or iPad, try the following:
- Update your firmware as described here: https://shop.leica-geosystems.com/sites/default/files/2024-12/Instruction_FW_Update_en.pdf
- Reset the DISTO:
- Press the FUNC button → go to Settings → select Reset (on the second page).
- Clear Bluetooth® cache (only if your laser was previously paired):
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Go to Bluetooth®.
- Tap the “i” icon next to the DISTO device name.
- Select Forget This Device.
- Restart your iPhone or iPad.
- Try connecting again via magicplan only.

Hi everyone, please update magicplan to version 2025.12.0 — this update includes a fix for the issue with the Leica Disto X4 on iOS. In case you're still facing the issue on this app version, please let us know.
We’re still working on resolving this for Android and appreciate your patience in the meantime.
