LiDAR not working on app all of a sudden

I've been using this app for months on my phone, several successful projects later, all of a sudden one day I go to add a room using auto scan but the app is stuck on the "move device to start" screen. I end up having to close the app and after re-opening, manual scan doesn't work either. So I have to manually draw the room layouts. This is all of a sudden and kills my bottom line by taking me so much more time on-site.
I've deleted and reinstalled the app, restarted my phone, verified all phone and app permissions, and confirmed my LiDAR is working bc it's working in my phone's measure app.
If I login to my account on my husband's phone, the auto scan works but I cannot just keep using his phone.

Hi Different Whitefish , thanks for reaching out! A couple of things you could try:
- Please double-check that nothing is obstructing the device’s sensors. Sometimes a case can block the LiDAR sensor; for example, I can reproduce the same issue if I cover my device's sensor with my finger.
- You can also test with another app, for example the 3D Scanner App. Make sure to switch to LiDAR mode in the app settings. When scanning, you should then see the red overlay disappear step by step as the scan progresses.
