I would like a function that can be used to temporarily deactivate the automatic snap-in function. Currently, rooms are automatically straightened when turning from a certain angle. In addition, when merging rooms, Magicplan partially changes the room geometry so that rooms snap together. This is problematic when it comes to existing properties. In Berlin in particular, there are many old apartments and existing floor plans with slanted walls, staggered walls and rooms that are not rectangular. These floor plans cannot be reproduced cleanly if the app automatically straightens rooms or changes them geometrically when combined. It would be helpful to have a mode like: Free movement Free orientation Disable snapping Deactivate Snap In this mode, rooms should be able to be moved, rotated and placed together freely without Magicplan automatically aligning them with grid points, walls, corners, or other rooms. This would significantly improve work with old apartments and non-rectangular existing floor plans.

I'd like to draw rooms inside of other rooms. Most people draw the perimeter walls first then build the rooms inside that perimeter, instead of assembling the rooms together.

It would be great to duplicate a floor and have the option to exclude furniture.

There is no possibility to store sloping ceilings in the plan. But these are necessary for a correct plan.

Could you create an electrician tool pack? so we could create electrical plants.

magicplan team We would totally value IMPORT of existing IFC model of our properties into the magicplan cloud interface for faster & easier on-site inspection capturing + avoid duplication of work. The current 2D image import feature & workflow works fine for an apartment or regular house. It’s extremely time consuming though on large houses, offices & larger buildings to draw / model from an image, especially if it needs to be dimensionally accurate. We have LiDAR scans & 3D models of many buildings that we work on for other purposes already. I was hoping we could just import these accurate IFC 3Ds we already have. The ability to import a IFC 3D into the magicplan cloud interface will help to set up projects faster in the office so that field inspectors can on capturing site conditions much faster and office teams can get reports out faster. This feature will greatly speed up our inspections with magicplan’s awesome data, photo & 360 capturing & report outputs. I want to use the drag-and-drop feature to draw walls with pencil. Having to use a single tap to draw a wall makes it difficult.

Add objects like crown molding & base boards/ trim

It would be great if you could specify the orientation of the building in the project to enable export with a north arrow.
